A simple path to care
Seeking support should not mean explaining your whole world first. Whether you live in Syria or elsewhere, Baseera helps you find a practitioner who understands your experiences, needs and cultural context.
Baseera also supports couples and group sessions. Availability depends on the practitioner, and rates vary by practitioner and session format. Confirm the rate before booking.
01 Search by language
Filter our reviewed network by dialect, expertise, session format, and rate.
02 Register your request
Send a short intake form. It goes to us directly — not to a public listing.
03 We contact you
Baseera uses its own matching algorithm to suggest three candidates based on your signup answers, including your language, needs, preferences and budget. You choose a practitioner and the Baseera team reviews the match. Therapy sessions last 50 minutes; the rate shown on each profile is per session.
Video room
Sessions take place in Baseera’s own private video room inside the site. No other video tools, downloads or exchange of personal contact details are needed. You knock and your practitioner lets you in. Sessions are never recorded. You can join from any phone, tablet or computer — the room runs in your browser and adjusts its quality to your connection.

Purpose
The purpose is for you and your practitioner to get to know each other, set realistic expectations, and agree on a frequency and a therapeutic approach.
Important reminders
- Feel free to ask questions at any point.
- If you feel nervous, that is normal. This is a team effort.
- If the practitioner's approach does not suit you, or you simply do not click, tell us and we will find someone else for you.
Four simple steps
01IntroductionYou mutually find out more about each other
Expect casual questions: “Where are you from?” “How long have you lived here?” “What brings you here?” “How are you finding life in this country?”02ConfidentialityEverything you share from the start of counselling is confidential
Your practitioner explains the limits of confidentiality and answers any question about how your information is handled.03Main partWhat brings you to Baseera, and what do you hope for?
You may also be asked: have you tried counselling before? What worked, and what did not?04Evaluation & next stepDeciding how to move forward
If you decide to continue, you agree with your practitioner on online or in-person meetings and when the first session takes place. You then receive a consent form and payment details.
Thank you for choosing Baseera. We look forward to meeting you.
