Terms for using Baseera
These terms govern your use of the Baseera website and matching service. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Baseera is
Baseera is a matching platform that connects people seeking mental-health support with independent practitioners who speak Arabic or understand the Syrian and Arab cultural context. We are not a clinic and do not provide treatment directly, nor do we host or record sessions. The clinical relationship remains between you and the practitioner you choose.
Accounts and access
Baseera does not offer public self-service accounts. Access to the admin panel and the practitioner or participant portal is by invitation or admin approval only. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs using your account.
Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information in registration forms, not to misuse the platform, and not to attempt to access parts of it that do not belong to you. Baseera may not be used for any unlawful purpose, harassment, discrimination, or distribution of harmful content.
Sessions and the practitioner relationship
Practitioners work as independent professionals and are fully responsible for their own practice, clinical records, and notes. Sessions take place through video tools chosen jointly by the practitioner and participant, and those tools are subject to their own terms. Baseera does not join or record sessions.
Fees and payments
Fees and payments are agreed directly between the participant and the practitioner. Baseera charges a modest commission agreed in advance with each practitioner. Baseera does not store or process payment card details.
Liability and emergencies
Baseera provides the matching service only and is not responsible for the clinical advice or treatment provided by a practitioner. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Baseera is not an emergency service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Please review the terms periodically. Your continued use of the platform after any change means you accept the revised terms.
